This is a screenshot showing that one can open projects for thesistant with the extention .tap. .tap files contain the information needed to restore ones paper, bibliography and resources, text in scratch paper, and even the color scheme one chooses for the program.
Here, one can see how you can add bibliography information in the left most panel. It automatically gets inputed to the data tree for that reference. The option to create your own bibliography template also exists.
The image on the right is an example of adding a highlight to a reference. When writing a thesis, one may have to keep track of numerous papers and because of that, there may be numerous parts of paper that one deems important. By highlighting portions of a paper in the Reference Panel, you can add a highlight. You can also page though highlights in a paper using the previous and next buttons. The highlights are also saved and restored if you choose to save your paper as a Thesistant project.
Here, the arrow is pointing to the equation editor. The upper and lower case greek letters are there, as well as some of the other notation. You can then insert the equation into your paper.
This is the form that allows you to change the colors of Thesistant. If you like all the shades of purple, you can come here and change all the colors to different shades of purple. Again, it's here so you feel more confortable using Thesistant.
This is a screenshot of what a project may look like in Thesistant. The main form contains your paper (thesis). To the left is a bibliography constructor. The right panel contains all of ones references. There is also a panel for creating a bibliography. To the bottom is the equation editor and behind that is scratch paper.
The image to the left shows that one can add a reference to the project. You can open a file in the .pdf format, add it to you list of references, and then view that paper in Reference panel.
This image shows how after you input the bibliography information, an actual bibliography is created the panel on the right. You can also pull these references into your paper by clicking and dragging for citations.
The arrow in this image is pointing to the scratch paper. You can use the scratch paper to keep notes for yourself. The text is saved and restored if using a Thesistant Project.
To allow Thesistant to work better for you all the panels are dockable. You can move them around, or even undock them, so they are floating. You can move the panels around so everything is in the best place for you to get work done.
